City Atlas is built to make public data easier to use without requiring an account or collecting personal information.

What we store

Saved city shortlists are stored only in your browser using local storage. They are not sent to City Atlas, and clearing browser site data removes them.

Analytics

If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it provides aggregated traffic measurement without adding cookies or a visitor-identifying profile. City Atlas does not use advertising trackers today.

Public data sources

City profiles use public Census, TIGERweb, and NOAA data. Those source links are provided for transparency; their websites have their own privacy practices.

Future advertising

If advertising or a service that changes this policy is introduced, this page will be updated before that change takes effect. Any required disclosures or consent choices will be presented clearly.
